Good Morning, The following e-mail is sent to you on behalf of your Negotiating Team. The Negotiating Team has been at the table since September and has reached a point in the negotiating process where we feel that external assistance might be helpful. WLUFA filed for conciliation with the Ministry of Labour late yesterday. This is a normal and anticipated step in the process and is necessary in order to move negotiations forward to a resolution. The Ministry of Labour will appoint a Conciliation Officer and this can take up to 3 weeks. During this time the team will continue to meet with the University in the hope of reaching an agreement.
