Attention All Faculty and Librarians!
 
Tomorrow is your chance to show your support for our CUPE 926 colleagues. This group is in a battle for the future of decent jobs at Laurier. Jim Gerlach, WLUFA treasurer and Chief Negotiator for the Contract Faculty labour negotiations, will be presenting a cheque from WLUFA to the striking workers. Come to the rally! Come to picket! Tell the University that secure jobs with a living wage are important to you!
 
WHAT: Picket and rally in support of striking CUPE 926 members
WHEN: Friday, July 15, 11:00 a.m.
WHERE: Assemble at WLU Main Gates (Intersection of University and Hazel)
WHO: Striking CUPE 926 members, Laurier faculty and librarians, local labour and community allies, supporters from across Ontario
WHY: To support CUPE 926 members and their efforts to secure a fair negotiated contract with their bully employer, Wilfrid Laurier University
