Lecture Stretch Breaks « WLUFA

Lecture Stretch Breaks

Hello Faculty,

The Department of Athletics and Recreation is offering Laurier faculty our improved program to increase student engagement in lectures through physical activity. Lecture stretch breaks are designed to give students a productive break from course content and improve their focus for the remainder of the lecture. A student leader lead video stretch will consist of a 10 minute stretch designed to increase and restore blood flow, reduce stress on overworked muscles and restore student focus in the classroom.

Faculty can download this stretch video from laurierathletics.com under Recreation > Wellness > Stretch Breaks or at this link Dropbox Link. We have improved our stretching video to give a higher quality stretch.

If you have any questions or concerns about lecture stretch breaks please contact Melissa Pare at [email protected]
