First Annual Worldviews Lecture on Media and Higher Education – April 21, 2015 in Toronto

Dear Colleagues:

The first annual Worldviews Lecture on Media and Higher Education will feature Simon Marginson, Professor of International Education at the Institute of Education, University of London. Professor Marginson will deliver a lecture titled, “Universities, the plutocracy and the 99%: Is high participation in higher education the problem or the solution, in societies that are becoming more unequal?”

The lecture will take place on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m in the Ground Floor of the OISE Library, University of Toronto.

The Worldviews annual lecture is a spinoff of the popular Worldviews Conferences on Media and Higher Education, which have been organized by OCUFA, OISE-University of Toronto, the Washington-based Inside Higher Ed and the London-based University World News.
