The Wilfrid Laurier University Faculty Association (WLUFA) is the certified bargaining agent for all faculty and professional librarians.

WLUFA has two bargaining units: one for full time faculty and professional librarians, and one for contract academic staff (part time faculty and professional librarians). As a full or part time faculty member or professional librarian at Wilfrid Laurier University you are automatically a Member of one of the bargaining units. Your working conditions, responsibilities and entitlements are set out in the Collective Agreements. However, in order to participate in the life of the Association, attend and vote at General Meetings, and serve on the Executive Committee, you must signify your desire to join the Association. Part time faculty members will retain membership in the Association for twelve months from the beginning of the academic term in which they have taught.

If you would like to become a WLUFA Association member, please complete the
Membership Form.

Membership in WLUFA also makes you a member of the Canadian Association of University Teachers (CAUT) and the Ontario Confederation of Faculty Associations (OCUFA).
