(b) Eligible Members who are interested in a CAS Standing Appointment must apply in writing no later than March 15 of each academic year to their Dean who, after confirming CAS Standing Appointment availability and department/program requirements, will forward the application(s) to the departmental/program Part-time Appointment Committee (PTAC). Members who teach in more than one academic unit are to follow the process in 2.2(c) below. In addition to the material in the Member’s Official File, applications must include a complete portfolio containing demonstrated evidence of good teaching at the University over an extended period of time (content to support demonstrated evidence of good teaching may include, but is not limited to, evidence of pedagogical innovation, participation with Teaching Support Services, teaching awards, and commendations).
