CF - Senior Lecturer Appointment Renewal13.7.5.6.1 Senior Lecturer Appointments shall be renewed every 5 years subject to the process outlined below. The first evaluation of a Senior Lecturer shall normally take place in the 5th year of the Member’s first Senior Lecturer Appointment. (a) The PTAC shall be responsible for the Senior Lecturer Appointment Evaluation. (b) The Department Chair or designate shall conduct an in-class review in the 4th year of the Members’ first term as a Senior Lecturer. The scheduling of the class visit shall be by mutual agreement of the Member and the designate and shall be determined by September 15. A copy of the in-class review will be provided to the Member, copied to their Official File and Dean, and where a designate conducted the review, sent to the Department Chair.(c) No later than September 15 of the 5th year of their appointment, the Member may provide documents in support of the renewal of their Senior Lecturer Appointment for PTAC consideration.
