Collective Bargaining Information
Tentative Agreement Ratified
The Tentative Agreement has now been ratified by both the WLUFA Membership and the Employer.
This marks the conclusion of the ratification process and confirms the new 2026–2029 Full-time Faculty and Professional Librarians Collective Agreement between WLUFA and Wilfrid Laurier University.
Ratification gives Members the final say on a Tentative Agreement. WLUFA Members reviewed the agreement, attended the bargaining unit meeting, asked questions, and decided whether to accept it.
The Bargaining Team carried out the work of negotiating on behalf of the bargaining unit throughout this round, but the authority to ratify the agreement rested with the Membership.
With ratification complete, implementation of the negotiated changes can now move forward.

The general terms and conditions of employment for Members of the Full-time Bargaining Unit are set out in and subject to the current Collective Agreement for July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2023. Under the Agreement the Employer is required to include a copy of the Collective Agreement with the letter of appointment.
