Teaching Accommodation RequestsTeaching Accommodation Requests (18.2.4.11) Members who have a disability or caregiving obligations (specifically for immediate family members with a disability) may request accommodation regarding the scheduling of their assigned teaching duties. The process is governed by Policy 8.7 (Employment Accommodation Policy and Procedures).
To initiate the process the Member must submit a formal written request to the Dean by September 15 of the academic year. The Department Chair, in coordination with the Dean, will arrange a teaching schedule that reasonably accommodates the Member’s needs.
