Larissa has been an Administrative Assistant of WLUFA since February 2006. Her accountabilities are communications support, administrative support, and travel coordination. More recently, Larissa has served as the Communications support staff which includes committee support, publication support, and managing multi-media formats such as the WLUFA website, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and a WordPress blog.
She is a member of the Canadian Organization of Faculty Association Staff (COFAS) and attends OCUFA and COFAS Association Staff events.
Since working with WLUFA, Larissa has achieved certification from Fred Pryor/Career Track in Administrative Assistants, Dealing with Difficult People, Facebook Marketing and Microsoft certification for Core Training for Microsoft Access and Managing Critical Business Information Using Microsoft Office Access. Other training includes Powerpoint: Introduction, Excel Charts, Excel Formulas and Functions, OCUFA Webinar: Using Social Media, and OCUFA: Writing Compelling Commentary, A Media Engagement Workshop for Academic Women.
Larissa secured her diploma in Law and Security Administration, Mohawk College, 2000.
