Ed Weidinger was the WRLC Treasurer for over 25 years – the longest-serving Labour Council Treasurer when he died in April 2021. He was a life-long labour activist and dedicated to improving the lives of all Waterloo Region workers. Our Labour Day Picnic and BBQ has been renamed in his honour.

Ed Weidinger était le trésorier de WRLC pendant les dernières 25 années – le plus ancien trésorier du Conseil du travail au moment de son décès en avril 2021. Militant syndical de longue date, il s’est consacré à l’amélioration de la vie de tous les travailleurs de la région. Notre pique-nique et notre barbecue de la fête du Travail ont été renommés en son honneur.
