My name is Carolyn MacTavish. I am a new faculty member at the SBE at Laurier and I am looking for a short term rental of either a furnished house or one/two/three bedroom apartment for approximately one month beginning October 25th for a family of 4. We are non-smokers and also have 2 declawed cats that we would love to bring with us for the month – however – if this is a deal-breaker, we can arrange for alternate arrangements for the cats… the kids however are non-negotiable. My name is Jennifer Baltzer. I am a new faculty member in the Department of Biology at Laurier and my family and I are interested in renting a house for six months or a year to become more familiar with the area before purchasing a home. We are looking for a 3+ bedroom home, furnished or unfurnished starting some point this summer. My husband and I are non-smokers and have two young daughters and a dog. We enjoy gardening and would be happy to maintain a property and gardens. We are also capable with home maintenance and repair having recently renovated an older home.

Price: $1650/month plus electricity (runs between $35 and $60 a month depending on your usage)
Rooms: Master bedroom is very large ( could hold Queen or King size bed plus love Seat sofa / coffee table). Den has a french door and could be used as an office or a room for a small child. Can be partly furnished.
Parking: One parking space right beside the elevator, underground. One more space can be rented from another unit owner between $75 and $100 per month.
Bathrooms: Two complete bathroom with stand up glassed showers. One bathroom has a soaker tub.
Granite counter top for kitchen and the bathrooms.
Only those who can maintain the unit with a lot of care and respect for neighbors should apply (clean, quiet, etc)
